Welcoming New Horizons at Billing Aquadrome

Meadow Bay Villages, a newly formed holiday & residential parks group led by highly experienced operators and backed by long-term, sector-committed institutional investors, are pleased to announce the successful acquisition of Billing Aquadrome and three other holiday parks across England. Meadow Bay’s management team has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the operation of holiday and residential parks nationwide and is dedicated to actively engaging with and nurturing the owner communities, as well as enhancing the holiday experiences through direct investments into the newly acquired sites.

This first landmark acquisition for Meadow Bay Villages comprises more than 2,600 occupied pitches, has significant on-site development potential and presents a unique opportunity for the group to establish a platform for growth across the UK leisure sector.

Commenting on the acquisition, Geoffrey Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Meadow Bay Villages previously serving in management roles at Cove Communities and Bourne Leisure, with over 32 years of experience in the holiday sector, expressed enthusiasm for the venture, stating,

“We are delighted to announce the acquisition of Billing Aquadrome, Hayling Island Holiday Park, Golden Leas Holiday Park, and Cogenhoe Mill and we relish the opportunity to engage with both owners and holidaymakers to offer a best-in-class experience whilst progressing exciting plans for further investment and development at these already great locations. Delivering value to our customers through an engaging and reliable service is at the heart of our proposition, and we very much look forward to developing the communities at our parks.”
